Anna and I visited countless amounts of garage sales to find old mirrors, trucks and jars (she had to really twist my arm...). Anna salvaged many items and re purposed them for pennies on the dollar. This is a true DIY wedding...every little detail was created by her two hands (which made the source list very easy for me).
Anna worked endless hours to create her rustic chic dream wedding. She painted the salvaged mason jars with blue glass paint and tied each one with a string of twine. And after she gathered trays and vases, she painted them and turned them into stands that would hold baked goods (which were each made by a family member or friend). She ordered the flowers from a wholesaler and arranged them the night before her wedding, and created every invitation, RSVP and escort card from scratch... I can't even believe how much work she put into this. But it was all worth it.
Anna and Peter's wedding is definitely one of the most beautiful that I've had the honor of attending. And I'm even more excited that I have her guidance as she supports me later this year.
Enjoy!
